An anonymous call lead the Humane Society to an abandoned property in Lower Macungie Township and another dead dog. In the basement a mixed-breed collie that was apparently someone's pet. It had been tied to a pipe, its head crushed Enforcement officer Orlando Aguirre says it is the worst case of animal cruelty he has ever seen.

It is believed that they used cinder blocks and while the animal was tied up they tortured him by smashing his head in.

The Humane Society is offering a $300 reward. Anyone who can help is asked to call the Humane Society at (610) 791-1112.
