Jason Malocsay, Alex Murgass, and Steven Paul pleaded guilty to luring three raccoons behind a shopping plaza and beating them to death with a baseball bat.  A homeless man witnessed the attack and called the sherriffs office to report it.  The teens face three counts each of cruelty to animals, a third-degree felony punishable by a $5,000 fine and five years in prison, reported Assistant State Attorney Rayme Suarez.  However, since the teens are first time offenders, the maximum penalty would be unlikely.
