    Animal control officials investigating a compaint about a limping dog found a cocker spaniel whose leg had partially rotted off. The leg was later amputated. The officials also removed 4 guinea pigs, 3 birds, 2 cats and an iguana from the household. Aubrey Phillips and his parents were arrested and charged with mistreatment to animals, unnecessary cruelty to animals and failure to provide rabies vaccinations, and face up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.
