Twelve dogs were brought out, one already put down from severe injuries. Almost all showed old battle scars and signs of mistreatment. When police raided the house they didn't find an active fight. They did find several assault rifles, drug parphernalia, and enough evidence to press charges.

"Several of them had some severe puncture wounds from fighting," Jeff Abernathy of Huntsville Animal Services says.

"Found paraphernalia in the house to believe these subjects are not only breeding dogs, but actively fighting them as well," Huntsville Police investigator, Jerry Wells, says.
