A Spartanburg County man faces charges after he allegedly stabbed his puppy with a knife. Deputies were called to the home near Woodruff Friday morning on a report of a weapon at the scene. When they arrived, they found Christopher Anthony Loftis (shown, left), 22, holding a bleeding puppy. A relative said Loftis stabbed the puppy with a knife.
The deputies recovered a knife from Loftis' camper that had blood on it and Loftis was been charged with cruelty to animals and simple possession of marijuana.
