Inside a home, officers discovered the blood-covered basement had been set up for dog fighting and 11 pit bulls believed to be part of a dog-fighting ring.

The suspect, at this time not named , is who police believe led the dog-fighting ring, tried to escape out the back window. Officers arrested him one block from the home.
