County: ChesterfieldDisposition: Convicted
Defendant/Suspect: Lisa McBride
Case Updates: 1 update(s) available
Lisa McBride was found guilty of animal cruelty and sentenced to 4 months in jail and a $100 fine. After initially denying ownership of the animals, she then attempted to deny any wrongdoing, Judge Rockecharlie vehemently told her attorney: "I don't believe a word your client said!" The Judge also expressed to her his shock at her mistreatment of her dogs. McBride has the right to appeal within 10 days.
This defendant tied her dog outside and it got pregnant. After giving birth to 3 puppies, the mother dog died. One of the pups also died. Another one wandered into the yard of a neighbor who called the authorities because this puppy was being eaten alive by maggots in its eyes and mouth - they had even eaten a hole in its jaw.

Note: Classifications and other fields should not be used to determine what specific charges the suspect is facing or was convicted of - they are for research and statistical purposes only. The case report and subsequent updates outline the specific charges.
