Alleged: Desmond Gogarty
A 50-year-old Leytonstone man will appear at Basildon Magistrates Court today charged with animal abuse.
Desmond Gogarty, of Apollo Place, is accused of kicking a dog in Grays, Essex, on April 27 and is charged with causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, in violation of the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
On the same day it is alleged that in Brentwood he used threatening, abusive or insulting words, behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby.
