A Miami homeowner shot at a naked man he found in his yard choking his dog on Wednesday morning, police say.

According to police, residents of the home, located at 175 N.W. 56th Street, were awoken by their barking dog about 5 a.m.

When one of the residents went outside to investigate, he found the naked man choking the dog and tried to intervene.
