Watertown police on Friday charged a Natural Bridge couple with failure to provide adequate food or drink for four of their pets at 608 Huntington St.

Frederick A. LaBarge, 43, and his wife, Kathy J., 37, of 3861 Factory Road, each were charged with two counts of animal cruelty, answerable in City Court.

Police cited Mr. LaBarge in connection with a gray cat and a boa constrictor, while Mrs. LaBarge was cited over an Akita dog and a black cat.

Both are summoned to appear March 20 in City Court.
