Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

Thursday afternoon a family's dog was shot in the front yard of their residence on Brookview Dr. off of the Northern Boulevard.

The incident happened when the Hunter family was outside washing their car. A complete stranger walked up and shot the dog, Raven, multiple times for no apparent reason.

The gunman did get away but police say they have leads that will hopefully lead to an arrest. If found guilty of animal cruelty charges the gunman could face up to 10 years.

The Montgomery Humane Society is asking for donations to help with Raven's vet bills which could run around $2,000. You can reach the Humane Society at 334-409-0622.

Note: Classifications and other fields should not be used to determine what specific charges the suspect is facing or was convicted of - they are for research and statistical purposes only. The case report and subsequent updates outline the specific charges. Charges referenced in the original case report may be modified throughout the course of the investigation or trial, so case updates, when available, should always be considered the most accurate reflection of charges.
