Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!
Upper Allen Township Police are investigating the intentional shooting of a family pet near the 1st block of Nittany Drive.
"Rockey" a 3 year old Maine Coon Cat was shot with a .177 caliber lead pellet sometime between 8 am and 10 am on February 17th. The pellet penetrated the cats neck and lodged near his spine.
Rockey's family was alerted to the shooting when the cat returned home and began howling in pain. Veterinary costs to the family are expected to exceed $1000.00.
Pet owners are reminded that acts of Animal Cruelty are best prevented by keeping your pet from running at large.
