Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!
Authorities said they have another case of animal abuse in Brooke County.
Authorities said another puppy was abandoned less than a mile from the Brooke County Animal Shelter.
The Sheriffs Department is warning the matter is serious and they need evidence to track the person down who's responsible.
The latest victim of animal cruelty is a six week old St. Bernard who officials named Bernie.
Shelter officials said he was discovered 6 p.m. Sunday along Short Creek.
Animal rights activist Steve Tenant told wtrf.com abandoning puppies is an epidemic of stupidity.
Sylvia Szerszen of Triadelphia first saw the story air on WTRF and wtrf. com last week.
Monday she showed up to adopt one of the puppies discarded and when she found out there was a third incident she was outraged.
Deputies are hoping someone will recognize the puppies and call the Lauttamus Crime Fighters Tipline at 1-800-223-0312.
