Alleged: Adika Nicole Privott

Police arrested a woman Wednesday on two misdemeanor charges of willfully inflicting inhumane injuries to an animal after an emaciated dog was reportedly found outside her apartment.

Adika Privott, 25, is free on a $2,500 bond, Staunton police said.

The dog was discovered in a wire crate behind Privott's apartment in the 300 block of West Liberty Street.
