County: Plymouth

Disposition: Alleged

Alleged: Tinisha Norman

Police will file criminal charges against a South Plymouth woman who had two dead dogs in her home.

Tinisha Norman, 28, of 16 Jocelyn Ave., will be summoned to District Court on two counts of animal cruelty.

Capt. John Rogers said police found the two dead dogs in Norman's home Monday.

An oil deliveryman discovered one of the dogs in an attached shed of the house while making a delivery. Police went into the house after finding the mailbox stuffed with mail.

A second dead dog was found inside.

The dogs' remains have been turned over to the Animal Rescue League to determine the cause of their death. Rogers said it appears the animals died of neglect.

The dogs were partially decomposed so their breed was not immediately known.
