A Ft. Stewart solder faces animal cruelty charges after shooting a neighbor's cat.

A woman told Hinesville Police that her neighbor - Curtis Ray Hudson - had been shooting at her cats with a B.B. gun.

According to reports, when police confronted Hudson, he admitted doing it. The injured cat was taken to an animal hospital and Hudson faces other charges stemming from the incident.

He's also charged with Criminal Trespass (from damage the B.B. gun did to property) and Theft By Taking, as he allegedly had 3 of the neighbor's kittens in his possession.

Hudson's cruelty to animals charge is a felony.

Curtis Hudson was arrested and charged on Sept. 16.
