A Hollsopple man was charged Thursday with mortally injuring a pregnant cat with a bow and arrow Saturday afternoon at his workplace on St. Clair Road in Lower Yoder Township.

Police said in a criminal complaint that a woman had been providing food and water to several cats and kittens in that area on a daily basis.
On Sunday, the woman and her husband could not find the cats. When they began to check the area, they found a dead cat that appeared to have two wounds consistent with arrow wounds, the complaint said.
