Sally Hushion, 54, of Starrs Ridge Road, was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 8:23 p.m. and charged with cruelty to animals and obstruction of an animal control officer.

According to police, the arrest was the result of a state animal investigation that involved horses.

She was released on a promise to appear at a Sept. 8 court date.
