A Tukwila police dog was stabbed twice in the head and once in the neck while helping track suspects who had run away from Kent police early Wednesday.
The dog, Titan, received stitches at a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic and was resting at home with his handler, Officer Jim Syler, yesterday, according to police.
A 43-year-old woman, who stabbed the dog after he found her hiding in a wooded area, was arrested for eluding officers and for the stabbing. She was with three other people about 3:30 a.m. when they were pulled over for being in an unregistered car, Kent police said.
All four people in the car ran from police. Three were found: the woman, a juvenile and another man hiding in the stairwell of an apartment complex. A fourth person got away. References« WA State Animal Cruelty Map « More cases in King County, WA
