Seven people, one of them a 15-year-old boy, were arrested during a dog fighting raid near Fulshear in Fort Bend County.
Sheriff's Dept. spokeswoman Jeannie Gage said 13 pit bull dogs, some of them with wounds, were found at the location about 10:10 p.m. Sunday. They were rounded up and placed in the care of the county's animal control office.
The arrests were made after deputies received a tip that dog fighting was taking place at a residence at the end of Reynolds Road.
Gage said Quinn Solomon, 18 and Alex Solomon, 43, of Thompsons, Calebe White, 29 and Lawrence Perkins, 25, of Houston, and, Norris Johnson, 23 and Roland Johnson, 17, of Simonton, were arrested and charged with dog fighting, a Class C misdemeanor.
