A person or persons left a pit bull puppy tied up, abused, emaciated and abandoned in the Bronx.

At about 1am, a 6 month old puppy was found tied to a parking meter.  He had a collar on that was strangling him and his neck was bloody and gorey from where the collar was imbedded in his neck.  The pup is very sweet natured but afraid of stairs.  He has been placed in the Westchester animal shelter, but because he is a pitbull pup he will be euthanized if no one adopts him soon.
