The Bullhead City Police Department Friday made an arrest on animal cruelty charges.

Morley Robert Gagnier, was arrested at his residence in the 500 block of Roadrunner Drive after neighbors reported that their cat, "Frosty," had been shot at with a BB gun. They said Frosty was also shot with a BB in November, but they were unsure at the time of who had committed the crime. Friday morning, they reportedly saw Gagnier pointing a BB gun at their residence.

He was booked on charges of cruelty to animals and misconduct involving a dangerous instrument and held for court.

Frosty ran away Friday after the shots were fired and has not returned home, police spokeswoman Emily Montague said.
