County: Delaware

Charges: Felony CTA, Felony Non-CTA
Disposition: Alleged

Alleged: Trevor K. Hoskins

Police say a Muncie man Sunday morning used just about whatever he could get his hands on to attack his girlfriend and a dog.

Trevor K. Hoskins, 30, 114 E. Ninth St., faces preliminarily charges of intimidation, a Class C felony, cruelty to an animal, a Class D felony, and domestic battery causing serious injury with a weapon, a Class A misdemeanor.

The victim told police Hoskins had struck her with a wooden kitchen chair, a ceramic vase and a large piece of glass from an end table. A witness at the scene told officers she also saw Hoskins strike his girlfriend with what appeared to be a broom.

Police on the scene also observed a small brown puppy injured on the front porch with a bent and broken shower curtain rod laying on the ground nearby.

Hoskins was being held Monday evening under a $17,500 bond at the Delaware County jail.
