County: Bay

Charges: Misdemeanor

Panama City police have arrested one suspect and are looking for another in connection to a meth fire.

Panama City investigators say a suspicious fire Tuesday at 2205 E. Sixth St. was caused by a "shake and bake" meth lab. The duplex was destroyed.

Virginia Lyndsey, 32, who lived at the duplex, has been charged with arson, manufacture of meth, manufacture of drug paraphernalia and animal cruelty, police reported. Investigators said Lyndsey's beagle died during the fire.

Police said Timothy Tillman, 38, also was present during the fire and will face the same charges when he is arrested, but officials have not yet been able to locate him.

Anyone with information about his wherabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement agency or Crime Stoppers at 850-785-TIPS (8477), officials said.
