Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!
The RSPCA yesterday described as "disgraceful and callous" the people who threw a dog out of a moving car. The Jack Russell cross died after the incident on the A465 Heads of the Valley Road in South Wales on Saturday.
Louise Thomas and her teenage son, from the Cefn Coed area, stopped to help the injured animal on the road near Dowlais and took it to the Ash Veterinary Surgery in Merthyr on Saturday.
Receptionist Marsha Craze said, "Mrs Thomas came into the surgery with the dog, but it had already died by the time they arrived here. The eight-year-old dog had broken ribs. Everyone here was really horrified. There is no need for such cruelty."
Note: Classifications and other fields should not be used to determine what specific charges the suspect is facing or was convicted of - they are for research and statistical purposes only. The case report and subsequent updates outline the specific charges. Charges referenced in the original case report may be modified throughout the course of the investigation or trial, so case updates, when available, should always be considered the most accurate reflection of charges.
