Kentucky police are investigating a case of vandalism and animal cruelty at it's worst after someone ransacked a Lexington horse farm.
The vandals broke windows, cut off horse's tails and poured oil in their food.
Nine horses have had their tail cut off.
What's even worse whoever is doing this vandalizing is leaving taunting messages saying "let's play a game, find me."
"This is where they cut the tails off, it takes them a lifetime to grow that long," says horse owner, Jennifer Mayberry.
Friday night well into Saturday afternoon, someone vandalized the farm.
Cutting the strings off the hay bales, breaking windows and dumping oil in the horses food.
The vandals also poured soap into the drinking water and put glass under car wheels and handles, every action, with the intent of hurting both humans and horses.
Some are competition horses, while others are beloved pets.
"They seem to think it's a game, it's not a joke, this is high dollar horses and high dollar equipment," says Mayberry. References |
