A call to police brought investigators, state workers and animal rescue officers to a Grain Valley Missouri home on an animal hoarding case.

In total authorities found 12 Great Danes weighing at least 200 pounds each, six lizards, a turtle, and 60 hamsters.

Not only were the animals taken away to rescue organizations but a seven year old girl living in the home was also taken away. She is now living with relatives.

The house is now condemned. Two adults living in the home could face citations from police, fines from the city and possible felony charges.
