Local authorities completed a lengthy investigation of animal abuse and neglect in the south eastern part of the county. The suspect had left the state and abandoned two horses, one of which was left locked in a barn without food or water. One animal had to be put down as a result of the alleged conduct of the suspect.

Due to several factors authorities had difficulty in obtaining the suspects personal data for an arrest warrant. They have since resolved that matter and are seeking a warrant and extradition from out of state for this suspect.
