Beheaded dog video uploaded on website
San Antonio, TX (US)

Incident Date: Friday, Jan 1, 2010
County: Bexar

Disposition: Alleged

Alleged: Sarah Rodriguez

The picture of a beheaded dog hit the Internet, now an 18-year-old San Antonio woman is trying to clear the air.

Sarah Rodriguez goes by the name 'Wolfie'. She claims she is a werewolf.

Wolfie is into taxidermy, but in this case she may have gone too far.

A photo of someone holding his head was posted on the Internet and now Wolfie is under investigation.

Wolfie says someone brought her the body of their dead dog, Shadow, who had been hit by a car. She said a friend of hers posted the offensive picture on the Internet, and that she had nothing to do with it.

But the online photo was spotted by the owner of a missing dog. That person said her dog, Rigsby, went missing January 2. She believes that Shadow is actually Rigsby, and that Wolfie may be responsible for his death.

That spurred an investigation.

But Wolfie says she is a dog herself, and would never hurt another dog.For the past 6 years, Wolfie has sported a furry tail to prove her point.

Wolfie has Tourette's Syndrome. She suffered a head injury in a car accident when she was 8 years old.

A few years ago Wolfie was arrested at an area high school for carrying a large knife on campus. She wasn't enrolled as a student at the time.

Wolfie's criminal history also shows a burglary charge. But, Wolfie said she was cleared of the burglary charge, and that the school incident was merely an accident.

There is also the open investigation surrounding complaints that Wolfie has too many dogs. According to reports, the dogs often fight and live in unsanitary conditions.

In 2007, investigators also received a complaint regarding animal mutilation.

Now Wolfie claims that someone has hacked into her Internet accounts, and there are rumors of child pornography. Wolfie says those who blame her for the dog's death have planted the damning evidence. She says she has also been receiving death threats.

Wolfie says she loves dogs and points to her own healthy animals.

San Antonio police and animal care services are investigating. They say a necropsy should determine exactly how Rigsby the dog died.
