Alleged: James Webb
A Greene County man who is facing 79 animal cruelty charges will have to wait until this summer, 2010, for a court date.
James Webb was arrested in early January 2010, after authorities say they found dozens of animals on his land near Walstonsburg. His case was recently continued until July 30, 2010.
Officials said the conditions they were living in were horrible-- and almost all were found with a medical issue.
The animals that were still alive-- pigs, goats, chickens, geese, turkeys, and horses-- were first taken to the Wilson County Fairgrounds to an emergency shelter where they received care.
Since then all of the animals have gone to three farms in other counties. References |
