A Fulton man was charged with felony animal cruelty after stabbing and cutting a brown-and-white pit bull, which later died, police said.
Dennis W. Duell, 33, of 210 Oneida St., was also charged with felony criminal mischief and harassment, a violation, in the 11:45 a.m. incident, said Sgt. Dave Ludington in a news release.
Police said Duell partially-disemboweled the pit bull, which ran about half a block until it died. The dog was valued at $600, police said. Duell is also accused of punching a man and a woman during the incident. The man was the dog's owner. Police said this was a domestic incident.
