The Linn County Sheriff's Office was contacted around 11 a.m. Saturday concerning a wounded dog that had been found and transported to the Sweet Home Police Department. The person who found the dog said it appeared to have been shot by a high-powered firearm. Deputies took the dog to Linn Veterinary Hospital in Albany for treatment.
