Police said they arrested a Dover woman with a history of animal abuse for trying to buy a dog Saturday. Police said they went undercover to arrest Janet Yusko, 49, for breaking her court order by trying to buy a Doberman pinscher.

Yusko was convicted in March on two counts of cruelty to animals. Police said they seized two of Yusko's horses, 11 dogs, 25 birds and several hamsters and rabbits. Police said animal carcasses were also found on the property.

Case Updates

Yusko tried to purchase a Doberman Pincher from a breeder in Middleton, NH. The breeder along with an undercover officer, went to Yusko's house and she has been charged again with 4 new counts for indirect criminal contempt charges. Yusko was scheduled to appear in court on August26th. She did not show up and now has been charged with bail jumping.
