A Gastonia man has been charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty for allegedly depriving his pets of food and water.
Grady Patterson III, 30, of West Walnut Avenue, has been charged with four counts of animal cruelty for failing to supply his white Boxer and a black Shepherd mix with food and water, according to arrest warrants. Patterson was also charged with two counts of failing to purchase a county license, two counts of failing to display license tags and two counts of failing to vaccinate the dogs, the warrants state.
