A Jennings man is behind bars and authorities say they've rescued dogs who were used for fighting.

Two dogs were reportedly rescued from the King Street home of Allen West.

West was arrested for possession of cocaine and stolen property.

The Jeff Davis Sheriff's Department says after viewing counter-surveillance videos belonging to West, they saw evidence of dog fighting, and more charges are pending against west.
