Lawrence County Agent Calvin Bryant is helping lawmen investigate a possible case of animal cruelty in the Summertown area. Officers said they were called to Myers Road were seven horses were reportedly roaming the area looking for food and water. The report said the horses were very thin with patches of hair missing. Residents in the area said they attempted to water the horses before the deputies arrived.
