Dog dies in hot car while owner at water park

A Keller, Texas man is behind bars charged with animal cruelty after leaving his dog in a sweltering car in the Schlitterbahn parking lot.

Police have arrested 41 year old Ambrosious Susilo Bekti for leaving the dog in his van for 3 and a half hours while he was at the park.

Investigators say temperatures exceeded 120 degrees inside the vehicle.

The dog died from it's injuries.
