The Humane Society of the United States is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the conviction of the person who shot a dog four times in the neck.

Bronco is being treated at Wishbone Pet Rescue for injuries reported July 11 after the dog allegedly wandered away from his owners as they camped near Hopkins, Humane Society officials said.

He suffered nerve damage that left him deaf. Anyone with information is asked to call the Allegan County Sheriff's Department's Silent Observer tip line at 1-800-554-3633.
