Hoarding 24 cats in trailer, some found dead

A Walker woman faces up to two years in jail after entering a guilty plea Tuesday to animal abuse charges.

Patricia Vath admitted she had about 24 cats inside her trailer at Oakwood Heights Mobile Home Park. She was arrested in March.

Some of the animals were found dead in the home, which was abandoned when she was hospitalized.

Vath will be sentenced in September.
