Two dogs poisoned to death
Albany, GA (US)

Incident Date: Friday, Jun 19, 2009
County: Dougherty

Disposition: Open

Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

Albany Police responded to 1600 11th Avenue Friday where Rosa Harris told Police that someone poisoned her two dogs, one a rottweiler and the other a pit bull.

A resident who lives at 1600 11th Ave. did not want his identity revealed but told FOX 31 News he believes the people who killed his dogs came through the back yard and mixed the poison with the dog's food. He said the pit bull died almost immediately after eating, while the rottweiler, which they've owned since 1997, took longer to die.

He said that some people in his neighborhood might have had a problem with the dogs.

The case was forwarded to investigations.
