Two robbers are loose after shooting a dog during a home invasion.

The incident happened Saturday night at a home in the 600 block of Church Street in Lower Price Hill.

Officers said the residents of the home were robbed at gunpoint by two men.

The occupants' dog was shot during the altercation.

The shooter is described as a black man, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium building, wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

The victims were not able to provide a description of the second man.
