Disposition: Not Charged
Person of Interest: man
Officials say Marion County authorities have seized about 50 animals from a home and a local farm, and now a 46-year-old man might face animal cruelty charges.
County spokesman Judge Cochran says Marion County Animal Services have hauled mice, a hamster, goats, dogs, horses, pigs, a snake and a donkey away from the farm and house. According to a news release, the animals were seized Friday and Monday.
The county believes the man failed to provide adequate food or care to the animals he owned. When asked about the allegations, however, the man told the Ocala Star-Banner: "That really offends me." References« Back to Search Results « FL State Animal Cruelty Map « More cases in Marion County, FL
