A cat has been shot with an air pellet for the second time in two months. In the latest incident, the pellet went through the ten-month-old animal's chest wall and into his body.

The injury happened between 7am and 9am on May 17 after leaving his house in Blencowe Drive, Brackley.

The cat, named Ollie, has been treated by a vet and is back at home with his owners.

On the previous occasion the pellet went into the cats leg.

Police in Brackley have had no other reports of this nature in the town.
