Clarksville, TN (US)

County: Montgomery

Disposition: Open

Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

A 28-year-old Clarksville man reported Thursday that someone poisoned his dog with antifreeze.

According to a police report, the 5- or 6-year-old Australian shepherd began acting ill on Wednesday, and the man and his wife took it to a veterinarian the following day. A test confirmed the dog had ingested antifreeze, and the dog later died.

The couple told officers they had nothing containing antifreeze in their yard or home in the 500 block of Caskey Drive.
