Suffolk police have charged two juveniles after they ignited fireworks to spook a horse.
It happened over the weekend. A witness stated that she watched the two kids standing at a shed located in their yard while the victim's 12-year-old daughter lead his horse down the driveway.
The witness reported that when the victims daughter and the horse got near the shed, the kids lit the fireworks which spooked the horse. The horse pulled away from the victims daughter and ran away.
The witness told police that the horse was so frightened that it tore through several yards of hot wire and damaged several fence post used to corral his animals.
