Over 100 roosters have been seized in a cockfighting ring bust in Lake Worth, according to Teri Barbera, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Spokesperson.
Dead roosters were found at the scene, 9227 Palomino Dr. in Lake Worth. Animal Care Control is trying to save roosters that are still alive. Five people have been arrested and more arrests are expected.
Case UpdatesSeven suspects appeared before a judge Monday morning in connection with a massive suburban Lake Worth based cockfighting ring. All seven suspects were issued bond. All face animal fighting charges.
