A school principal and her husband have been charged with animal cruelty following the removal of 23 starving English setters from their home.
Sheila Stellrecht, 40, and her husband, Lee Stellrecht, 57, each were charged Thursday with 23 counts of failure to provide sustenance, said Wyoming County sheriff�s deputies and officials at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The SPCA took custody two weeks ago.
