Police are investigating an alleged cockfighting operation in the Juniata Park section of the city. The SPCA said 18 people were arrested at a home on the 200 block of West Louden Street Friday night.

Police said the cockfight was in progress when they arrived on the scene.

SPCA officials removed 58 birds from the home.

Those arrested face felony cockfighting charges.
