Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!
Two puppies nearly ended up being thrown out with the bins after being dumped by their owners.
The ten-week-old Chihuahua-cross puppies were left in a cardboard box next to rubbish in Hardwicke on Wednesday.
Staff at Teckels Animal Sanctuaries in Whitminster have been left horrified.
Manager Joan Barrett said: "The binmen could have easily picked them up and it is just horrible to think what could have happened."
The puppies have now been named Bonnie and Harry. If you would like to adopt them call 01452 740 300.

The case report and subsequent updates outline the specific charges.
