A 28-year-old Monticello man who brought a puppy to a female acquaintance's on Christmas hurled the animal during an argument with her, and then, upon leaving the woman's residence, threw a rock through her window, police said.
Monticello Police arrested Radwan Washington for criminal mischief in the 4th degree and cruelty to an animal, both misdemeanors.
He was gone from the Monticello Street residence, when police arrived to interview the woman just after the crimes occurred at about 5:20 p.m., police said.
Police picked Washington up the day after, while he was walking on Broadway. He was sent to Sullivan County Jail on $250 bail. He is on parole for a felony drug conviction.
